About The Position
The Peer Recovery Support Specialist I provides essential peer recovery support services to patients enrolled in substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health services across various program levels, including inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. This role focuses on promoting recovery, resiliency, and self-sufficiency through educational groups, coaching, patient advocacy, and coordination of services. The position requires flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, as the Sobering Center operates 24/7.
