About The Position
The Peer Mentor position within the TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) Scholars program at Pima Community College is designed to assist first-generation college students in navigating their academic journey. This role involves providing guidance on college resources, fostering self-advocacy skills, and supporting various TRiO initiatives. Peer Mentors will play a crucial role in welcoming new students and helping them acclimate to college life, while also participating in training and various programming events throughout the academic year.
