IL 60453 Schedule: Part-Time (10–20 hours/week) Envision Unlimited is hiring a Peer Mentor – CRSS to support individuals in our mental health residential programs at our Drop In Center- 9648 S Pulaski Rd., Oak Lawn, IL 60453. This part-time role is perfect for college students, lifelong learners, recent CRSS grads, and anyone looking to make a difference while supplementing their income.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Lived experience with mental health and/or addiction recovery
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Must be able to drive or utilize public transportation to multiple locations
• Must pass a background check
• CRSS preferred; must be willing to obtain certification within one year

Nice To Haves

• Preference given to Certified Recovery Support Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Engage and support clients in the ACT Program
• Share personal recovery experiences
• Lead group discussions and assist with treatment planning
• Support recreational activities and Drop-in Center events
• Provide peer counseling and help develop crisis/medication plans
