About The Position

We Care Daily Clinics (WCDC) is a warm, welcoming, and modern facility that provides treatment for addiction in a person-centered environment located in Auburn. WCDC seeks to renew hope and purpose for those battling opioid use by removing barriers, providing a holistic approach to recovery, and utilizing evidence-based treatment to restore healthy living. Our top priority is to provide the highest levels of patient-centered care to those we serve. WCDC is an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) facility using FDA approved medication paired with behavioral health counseling. Our individual service plans are built around patients in a supportive, safe environment to create a personalized pathway to recovery. In addition to recovery, we also offer planned patient transportation and family and social support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification as a Peer Counselor in the State of Washington and CG Affiliation and/or CPSS / CPSST
  • Experience leading and facilitating group activities.
  • Strong understanding of recovery principles and ethical standards, with a commitment to empowering others.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.
  • ️Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Help members access critical resources, including housing, education, employment, and identification services.
  • Serve as a strong advocate for members, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed.
  • Guide individuals and families in identifying services and activities that promote recovery and enhance their quality of life.
  • Lead engaging group counseling sessions, fostering connection and peer support.
  • Provide individual counseling, using your own recovery story (when appropriate) to inspire and guide members.
  • Encourage members to take personal responsibility and develop self-management skills on their recovery journey.
  • Assist members in setting and achieving meaningful recovery goals.
  • Promote self-advocacy and the development of supportive relationships.
  • Help members regain control and success in their lives through stable housing, education, and employment opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided, ensuring compliance with Medicaid and clinic standards.
  • Uphold all confidentiality and privacy policies to protect member information.
  • Work closely with the mobile clinic team to provide integrated, member-focused care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and process improvements.
  • Support onboarding and mentorship of new team members as needed.
  • Support the mission with all other duties as assigned!
