About The Position

Food Production - Peeler Opr PR01 - Full-Time Starting pay: $17.70/HR includes a shift differential of $1.35/HR for working 2nd Shift This position is responsible for operating machinery includes ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: Team Members with 4 attendance points or more (2 points or more under probation) will not be considered.
• You must not have received a written warning within the last 12 months.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing and able to lift a minimum of 10lbs to a max of 50lbs.
• Must be willing and able to push and pull rack on rail system ranging from 65lbs up to 500lbs.
• Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms above shoulder level up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
• Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
• Must be willing and able to perform repetitive movements.
• Must be willing and able to visually inspect product for any deficiencies.
• Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and or stairs.
• Must be willing and able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day.
• Must be willing and able to do repetitive gripping, pushing and pulling.
• Must be willing and able to work in cold and damp environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and Operate Peeler Machine.
• Remove casing from vacuum hold tank.
• Check and Document Metal check system.
• Unjam Machine when malfunction occurs.
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
• May use Plantview if transferred /rotated.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
