About The Position

The position involves working in production indoor test cells, assisting in various tasks related to engine dis-assembly, repair, preparation for testing, and de-preparation following approved instructions and practices. The role includes installing engines in the test stand and setting them up for tests, including special or slave systems. The candidate will assist in operating the current family of engines, ensuring compliance with published limits and maintaining good communication with support organizations and the team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to perform in a self-directed team environment
• Knowledge of borescope
• Preliminary Review approved
• Designated Inspector
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving
• Engine test site operation
• Equipment operation, ie fork truck, transporter & tug

Responsibilities

• Production indoor Test Cells
• Assist in the engine dis-assembly, repair, prep for test, and de-prep following approved instructions and practices
• Assist in installing engines in the test stand and setup for test, including special or slave systems
• Assist in the operation of the current family of engines, following approved work requests, and ensuring the engine is operated within published limits
