About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse for a 4-year-old female patient requiring G-tube in Chicago (60608), IL. RN up to $43/LPN up to $33 Weekend Shifts only at the moment. Saturday and Sunday (8hrs each). 16hours total. very easy case and great family! Summary We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or RN to join our team at Niklife Home Care Inc. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support in accordance with their approved care plans.

Requirements

Valid LPN/RN license in the state of practice.
Experience working with children preferred, especially those with medical complexities.
Strong skills in medication administration and injection techniques.
Ability to perform phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as needed.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
Perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary for lab tests.
Provide direct nursing care to children with medical complexities.
Monitor patient health and report any changes to the supervising Registered Nurse.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for clients.
Educate patients and families on health management and medication administration.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
