About The Position

Carle Health is seeking a full-time BE/BC Pediatrician in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois to join an established practice. The position involves sharing call with 11 general Pediatricians, with the clinic site having 5 general Pediatricians and 1 Nurse Practitioner. This is an outpatient position that includes telephone call and weekend newborn clinics. Pediatric Hospitalist services cover admissions and manage inpatients. The practice has approximately 600+ Carle Physicians in the Urbana-Champaign area, with pediatric subspecialty support including Critical Care, Neonatology, Hematology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, and Developmental-Behavioral, Genetics, Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, and Cardiology. There is also an opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Valid medical license to practice in Illinois
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
