About The Position

UNC Physicians Network is presently seeking a Pediatrician at their UNC Family Medicine and Pediatrics at Panther Creek. Located in west Cary, NC, Panther Creek provides full-service primary health care for your entire family. The team consists of board-certified physicians, APPs and staff who are committed to having healthy partnerships. Our philosophy is practicing internal medicine and pediatrics involves a close partnership with patients to promote a healthy lifestyle. Compassionate and personal care for adults and children is the mission.

Requirements

• Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
• Board certified in pediatrics required
• NC State License preferred
• FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Must be eligible for credentialing

Responsibilities

• Conduct well-child checks
• Perform physicals for school, camp, and sports
• Administer hearing, vision, and developmental screenings
• Manage chronic health conditions including asthma, allergies, and obesity
• Provide same-day sick visits
• Conduct behavioral consultations including evaluation and treatment for ADD and ADHD
• Administer immunizations
• Offer Saturday appointments
