Pediatrics Medical Assistant

About the position

Join the Pediatrics team as a Certified Medical Assistant! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. To be successful in this role you must enjoy working with children, have the ability to work well with others as part of a cohesive team, and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.)
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Current healthcare provider BLS required
• Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
