About The Position
We are recruiting for a motivated Pediatrics General Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at Denver Health. This position is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community, particularly focusing on pediatric patients. As a member of our clinical staff, you will work under general supervision alongside physicians to deliver primary healthcare to patients, which includes examining and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing necessary treatments for various health conditions. You will be responsible for performing procedures within your scope of expertise, writing prescriptions, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. In this role, you will monitor and evaluate the medical conditions of patients in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to established standards of care and protocols. You will assess the health status of patients by reviewing medical records, taking comprehensive histories, and conducting physical examinations. Additionally, you will order and administer medications, initiate and direct screenings and diagnostic tests, and maintain accurate documentation of patient care. Your responsibilities will also include participating in the clinical education of healthcare students, managing administrative tasks to support the practice environment, and potentially leading special projects or health station management.
