Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree required.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved post-graduate residency in Pediatrics.
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
  • Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania state specific DEA license.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certification appropriate for degree certified within five years of finishing training.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as required for hospital appointment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pediatric specialties such as adoption, breastfeeding, and nutrition.
  • Interest in leadership opportunities within the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care for children from newborns to young adults.
  • Establish a provider-parent partnership to ensure the best care for patients.
  • Participate in a group of 22 providers including pediatricians and advanced practice providers.
  • Build and manage a personal patient panel.
  • Participate in a call schedule of 1:6 weekends.
