About The Position

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and/or their designee, the Pediatrician is responsible for providing medical services to the pediatric patient population (0 thru 17 years) of Total Health Care.

Requirements

Completion of an approved internship program.
Completion of at least three (3) years of residency training from an approved accredited program.
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.
Maryland Medical License – State DEA – Federal DEA
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years working in an ambulatory clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform complete physical examinations in the pediatric population and conduct annual health appraisals.
Participate in the provisions of:
Perform childcare including EPSDT.
Acute Pediatric care.
Consultations when needed.
Out-patient services for pediatric patients.
On-call services as scheduled.
Maintain accurate medical records, complete documentation in Medical Records and Encounters within 24 hours of patient encounter.
Participate in teaching assignments to students as well as clinical studies as determined by the Medical Director and THC.
Participate in all QI Programs including PEER Reviews.
Maintain a productivity standard of at least 4000-4200 encounters/year/FTE.
Participation in all assigned meetings.
Maintain current Licenses.
