About The Position

Horizon Health and Wellness, Inc. (HHW) is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to support the services provided at our east valley Pediatric Clinic located in Chandler. Horizon Health and Wellness, Inc. has offered quality healthcare services to central and southern Arizona for over 40 years. Requirements

  • Licensed as a Pediatrician in the State of Arizona.
  • Possess current DEA registration.
  • In-depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
  • Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation principles and techniques
  • Up to speed knowledge of drugs/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects
  • Familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems
  • Active listener, patient and calm
  • Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communications skills (written and oral)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Have no pending actions by board of medicine in Arizona or any other state.
  • Have current unencumbered license to practice as a Pediatrician and to prescribe medications in the State of Arizona.
  • Possess valid drivers license with acceptable driving record, telephone and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to participate in trainings and continuing education.
  • Ability to analyze and assess situations and patients.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of referral resources available to participants.
  • Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
  • Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required
