Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Pediatrics Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Dickinson, ND Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Feb 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call only Call Schedule: 24 hour call - 7 days per month Call Type: Beeper Patient Demographics: Newborns & Pediatric Patients Patient Volume: 2 -3 patients per day Admissions: Yes – newborn and pediatric admissions Rounding included: Yes Support Staff: -Nursing team -Level II nursery nurses -Anesthesia -OB/GYNs -Respiratory therapists -local pediatricians -NICU consult support Specialty Backup: NICU and pediatric transfer support in Bismarck, ND Case Mix: Newborn care, pediatric admissions, deliveries Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/ intubations/UVC , lumbar punctures EMR: Meditech Other Info: Will attend to all scheduled and emergent C -sections; Level II nursery; infants <36 weeks typically transferred. Hospital Privileges required: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active ND License or IMLC
- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- ACLS, BLS, PALS,NRP
- Clean Record - NPDB report less than 30days (on presentation)
