The Mission Neighborhood Health Center (MNHC) is a non-profit, multi-site community health organization offering comprehensive health services in the Mission and Excelsior Districts of San Francisco. The center offers primary health care services, adult medicine, pediatrics, family planning, OB/GYN, HIV and homeless services. We advocate for health equity and deliver innovative, high-quality services responsive to the neighborhoods and diverse communities we serve. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for our Pediatrician role. This position will primarily cover after-hours and weekend clinics. This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and is a Regular, Part-Time, Exempt role with a starting hourly range of $113 to $125. Primary Objective: The Pediatrician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical services, health supervision, and ongoing care for children and youth from birth through 18 years of age. This includes the diagnosis, treatment, and clinical management of both acute illnesses and chronic conditions. The Pediatrician delivers appropriate health services to the designated population, including preventive care, screenings, acute care, and chronic disease management, and educates patients and their parents or families as part of general care, while ensuring confidentiality as required. The Pediatrician may also supervise care provided by Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and other members of the Pediatric Clinic team.
