About The Position

Pediatrician BC/BE in either Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities to join our team in Central Texas. The child development physicians and psychologists at McLane Children’s Scott & White provide a comprehensive individualized medical and developmental assessment of children with developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder and/or behavioral and learning differences. Position Highlights: Physician will be second in the group Opportunity to provide comprehensive development assessments & care to a broad range of children Outpatient only with no inpatient rounding or consultations Psychotropic medication management is optional Strong multidisciplinary support from related specialties, including pediatric neurology, genetics, child psychology, child psychiatry, & rehabilitative care specialists Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects Opportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical students Leadership opportunities exist Academic rank at Texas A&M College of Medicine commensurate with experience Compensation based on experience

Requirements

Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Board certified in their specialty or demonstrate certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
