Overview LifeLong Medical Care is looking for a Board-certified/eligible Pediatrician, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant with a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based primary pediatric care to join our team at LifeLong William Jenkins Health Center in the heart of Richmond. We have an innovative pediatric-only team within a growing comprehensive family practice community Teaching Health center. LifeLong Medical as an FQHC utilizes an innovative, trauma & resiliency-informed, Behavioral Health integrated and patient-centered team-based care model. We are honored to work with a diverse, predominantly Spanish-speaking community of historical residents to recent immigrants of Richmond and the surrounding West Contra Costa County area. Unique highlights of this position include: Well established practice for more than 40 years with a diverse patient panel Collaborative work with other pediatricians, pediatric nurse practitioners, behavioral health clinicians, and dedicated pediatric support staff. Evidence-based clinical practice with a built-in schedule for CME and clinical practice discussions Innovative clinical research with local academic institutions not limited to ACES prevention and interventions in a family strength-based approach Preceptorship opportunities for both in-house Family Medicine Residency Physicians and visiting health professional students Newborn care with optional rounding opportunity at a local hospital About us: As a Federally Qualified Health Center in Northern California with over 45 years of dedicated service to the community, LifeLong serves over 66,000 patients in the East Bay Area's socio-economically underserved regions. We provide medical, dental, behavioral health, and school-based services at 15 primary care sites across Oakland, Berkeley, and West Contra Costa County. Benefits: Compensation: $203,652-$225,118/year for MD/DO and $127,504-$151,153 /year for NP/PA and pro-rated depending on years since licensed, sign-on bonus, and excellent benefits: medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, dependent and domestic partner coverage, 403(b) retirement savings plan, and loan repayment programs. LifeLong is a qualified site for federal and state loan repayment programs (HPSA score is 20). Acceptance rates may vary year to year based on funding levels and the number of applicants.
