About The Position

Park West Health System (PWHS) is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Lead to deliver high-quality pediatric primary care while supporting clinical leadership within the Pediatrics Department. This role is ideal for a provider who wants to balance patient care with meaningful departmental leadership in a mission-driven community health setting. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care to children and adolescents. Serve as an EMR super user and provider advocate. Support accreditation readiness (Joint Commission, HRSA, OSV, etc.). Mentor, supervise, and evaluate pediatric clinical staff. Ensure provider adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Participate in establishing and monitoring provider performance expectations. Assist with oversight of students, residents, and trainees in Pediatrics. Contribute to planning and implementing new pediatric services and care delivery models. Support preventive health and wellness initiatives within the department. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school; or ECFMG-certified equivalent.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds.
  • Valid Maryland medical license and DEA certification (or eligibility).
  • Strong communication skills and cultural competence.
  • Experience with managed care, PCMH requirements, and EMR systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple clinical and administrative tasks efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Ambulatory care experience preferred; leadership or supervisory experience a plus.
