About The Position
Pediatrics at Kernodle Clinic in Elon, NC, has an opening for a board-certified or eligible pediatrician to join the growing community-based pediatrics practice. Join the six physician partners and one APP of Kernodle Pediatrics at our Elon location! This Pediatrician and Duke clinical faculty role is ideal for a patient-centered and community focused clinician. We offer a full-time 4-day work week with no extended or weekend clinic hours. Clinical responsibilities are outpatient in nature, with no newborn rounding. Call is 1:7 weekdays and weekends, with a triage answering service being the first line of communication to parents. Abridge AI Scribe is available to reduce time spent charting. Kernodle Clinic is Duke Health’s largest community-based multi-specialty practice with 55 physicians and 40 APPs in 15 medical and surgical specialties practicing in Burlington, Mebane, and Elon, NC. Elon is a beautiful college town and home to Elon University, named one of the 2024 best-run colleges in The Princeton Review college guide. The Elon clinic is a mile from the university and located between the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill “Triangle” and the Greensboro/Winston-Salem “Triad” communities of North Carolina.
