About The Position
PM Pediatrics is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the country, founded and led by PEM physicians. The company is dedicated to providing an alternative for children who would otherwise seek emergency care. With a strong academic focus, PM Pediatrics boasts the nation's first Pediatric Urgent Care Fellowship program, a national annual conference, and a robust foundation for research. The facilities are designed like an emergency department but operate within a private practice setting, equipped with on-site x-ray and lab services, and supported by a skilled staff and specialty consultations when necessary. As part of the expansion efforts, PM Pediatrics is actively seeking additional PEM physicians and pediatricians with urgent care experience to join a team of over 60 PEM providers. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, physicians will evaluate and provide evidence-based treatment to pediatric urgent care patients in both in-person and telemedicine settings. The role involves assessing and treating acute injuries and illnesses, performing procedural care, overseeing patient flow, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations. Physicians are also expected to engage in continuing education and contribute to service recovery efforts when necessary, all while focusing on improving patient experience and operational efficiency.
