About The Position

Job Summary: We’re building a dedicated Talent Pool for Pediatric Therapy Services to connect with exceptional professionals who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential. By applying, you’ll be considered for future therapist openings across our Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physical Therapy (PT) teams at our Higgins and Lullwood campuses. This posting is not for an immediate opening. However, joining our talent pool ensures you’ll be among the first to hear when new therapy positions become available.

Requirements

  • A passion for working with children and families.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility.
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state licensure or eligibility.
  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility.
  • Degreed and current Texas Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access as well as Adobe.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of conditions that relate to the provision of pediatric services
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of team and family dynamics.
  • Ability to contribute as a leader and facilitator on teams which include parents, caregivers, and other professional staff.
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to family-centered, activity-based pediatric practices.
  • Ability to work sensitively with families from a variety of cultural orientations.
  • Ability to learn, interpret, and apply rules and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain data quality/integrity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with families, staff, and community members.
  • Ability to professionally represent the agency and provide overview of all agency services to clients in an effective and persuasive manner.
  • Ability to work with others in a multi-disciplinary setting in a supportive, professional, and collaborative manner.

  • Ability to monitor a computer screen for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in ECI, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a family-centered service organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality therapy services to children in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized interventions aligned with each child’s goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Partner with families, caregivers, and team members to support progress and developmental outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities.
