About The Position
The Pediatric Telephone Triage Nurse is responsible for the safe and timely evaluation of pediatric patient symptoms via telephone. The role aims to enhance continuity of care, minimize unnecessary emergency department visits, alleviate patient and parent anxiety, and provide self-care information. The position requires initial in-office training for up to three months, after which some shifts may be worked from home. Weekend shifts are compensated at a higher rate.
