About The Position

Speech-Language Pathology Assistants work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to help children develop communication and feeding skills. SLPAs play a key role in implementing therapy activities and supporting children as they progress toward their communication goals.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
  • Active SLPA license or certification (or eligibility)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Lead engaging speech and language activities for children
  • Monitor and report patient progress to supervising therapists
  • Maintain accurate therapy documentation
  • Support children during communication activities
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to support patient development
