Our Pediatric therapy team is instrumental in supporting high quality, compassionate care to our most vulnerable patients, including those in the PICU and NICU up to 18 years old. Requirements

  • Current Montana Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in pediatrics, PICU/NICU specialty area preferred.
  • Independently competent with Pediatric Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
  • Current HS AED CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive speech language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans, while addressing physical, mental, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across a variety of acute care settings, including PICU/NICU and Pediatric unit
  • Play a critical collaborative role in communication with physicians, nurses, care managers and other rehabilitation professionals.
  • Provide quality patient and family education and actively contribute to discharge planning.
