About The Position

The Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats speech, language, and communication disorders for pediatric patients from birth through young adulthood. This role focuses on delivering individualized, evidence-based therapy services while collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• New graduates and Clinical Fellows considered.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to pediatric care.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients (birth to 21 years).
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide speech and language therapy in individual and group treatment settings.
• Collaborate with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Uphold ethical standards and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology.
