About The Position

The Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats speech, language, and communication disorders for pediatric patients from birth through young adulthood. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • New graduates and Clinical Fellows considered.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to pediatric care.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients (birth to 21 years).
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide speech and language therapy in individual and group treatment settings.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Uphold ethical standards and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology.
