About The Position
This is your calling for Pediatric Home Care! Our Phoenix Skilled Office is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing team in a pediatric private duty role. Meet Our Client: Our sweet 7-year-old pediatric client located in Glendale is looking for a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide overnight care in the comfort of his home. This is a rewarding one-on-one opportunity to make a meaningful difference while supporting a child who requires trach and ventilator care. What makes private duty nursing different than home health visits? Traditional shifts (4’s, 8’s, 10’s or 12’s) Hands-on care with only one client per day Building client relationships and watching their milestones What your day looks like at BAYADA: Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions Document observations, interventions, and evaluations Feel empowered to perform skills with autonomy in the home
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state of Arizona
- One year of experience working as a Registered Nurse
Responsibilities
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
