About The Position

BayCare Medical Group, a physician-led, not-for-profit organization and part of BayCare Health System—the largest academic health system in the region—is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrician to join its growing academic pediatrics team in Tampa, Florida. This is a unique opportunity to serve in a faculty role within BayCare’s Pediatric Residency Program. Requirements

  • Current certification in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics by the ABP or AOBP
  • Current medical licensure in the state of Florida or eligible for licensure
  • Fellowship training in Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrics required
  • Demonstrated interest in teaching, curriculum development, and resident mentorship

  • Academic or teaching experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Key faculty role within an established BayCare-sponsored Pediatric Residency Program
  • Serve as Rotation Director for the required Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrics rotation
  • Actively contribute to curriculum development and ongoing program evolution
  • Precept pediatric residents in the outpatient clinical setting
  • Provide mentorship and academic guidance to residents in collaboration with the Program Director and core faculty
