UBMD Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Residency Coordinator and Fellowship Program Coordinator to provide leadership and administrative support for the Pediatric Residency Training Program and Fellowship Training Program. This role involves coordinating educational activities, managing departmental operations, and ensuring effective communication among various stakeholders. The position is crucial for enhancing patient experiences and supporting the health journey of children and families.

  • Provide direction, leadership and day-to-day management of educational and departmental activities for the Pediatric Residency Training Program.
  • Coordinate educational activities between chief residents, attending physicians, residents, medical students, and administrative offices.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in managing departmental responsibilities.
  • Act for and make decisions in the program director's absence within prescribed limits of authority.
  • Provide administrative support to the Program Director of the fellowship training program.
  • Coordinate fellowship recruitment, social functions, and employment requirements.
  • Participate in budget review and financial processes.
  • Act as a liaison for UB-GME offices and compile and submit various reports to outside entities.
  • Three years of experience in program administration and implementation within a medical/academic setting.
  • Experience with computers within a Windows environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Bachelor's degree in health care administration or related field; or equivalent.
