Then working as Registered Respiratory Therapist at Riley Hospital for Children is the perfect opportunity! Our Respiratory Therapists (RT) work closely with our patients to evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders ranging in modalities and demographics. We are also responsible for collaborating with various different entities in the hospital setting including nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total customer happiness and support.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana.
  • Graduation from a CoARC accredited respiratory care program.
  • Pass the N.B.R.C. registry exam within 6 months of hire date.
  • Healthcare Provider Certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with confidential patient information.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
  • ACLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • NRP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists.
  • Ensure total customer happiness and support.
