About The Position

Full Time, Night Shift PICU/Cardiovascular (CV) ICU Night Shift Pay Differential included Sign On Bonus of up to $22,500 available to Eligible External Candidates Relocation Bonus of up to $10,000 available to Eligible External Candidates based on their location Weekend Requirement of Every 4th Weekend Participate in bedside rounds & be a patient advocate Location: Riley Hospital for Children Referral Eligible Position Our Respiratory Therapists (RT) work closely with our patients to evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders ranging in modalities and demographics. We are also responsible for collaborating with various different entities in the hospital setting including nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total customer happiness and support.

Requirements

• Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana.
• Graduation from a CoARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Pass the N.B.R.C. registry exam within 6 months of hire date (6 month requirement void if hire date is one year past graduation date).
• Healthcare Provider Certification required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deal with confidential patient information.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification

Responsibilities
