You’ll partner closely with families to provide care that is both clinically excellent and emotionally supportive.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- Pediatric experience preferred; motivated nurses eager to learn encouraged
- BLS and PALS certifications (preferred)
- Experience with pediatric home care technology is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and empathy
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to commute to assigned home care cases throughout Westchester
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, personalized nursing care to pediatric patients
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage medical equipment (G-tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators)
- Observe and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with families and caregivers
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Educate and support families to promote confidence and independence
