About The Position

Children’s Medical Group has been providing the highest quality Pediatric care since 1947. The group is comprised of 4 offices in Atlanta, Johns Creek, Decatur and Buckhead. This is a full-time position located in the Buckhead office.

Requirements

• Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
• Familiarity with computers and other office equipment.
• Basic typing and keyboard skills.
• Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an outpatient primary care environment preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients from birth through 21 yrs of age for well and sick visits by obtaining histories and vital signs.
• Administer immunizations and medications by intramuscular, subcutaneous, intranasal and oral routes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by providers including, but not limited to: ear irrigations, urinary catheters, audiology testing, dressing changes, spirometry, fluid challenges, and breathing treatments.
• Triage nursing phone calls and provide guidance on an as-needed basis.
• Complete paperwork related to medication administration for schools, and sports physical forms.
• Additional duties as required.
