RN - Registered Nurse (Pediatrics) Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) assists in ensuring the general health and well-being of assigned individuals by providing direct nursing care. Direct nursing care of residents encompasses planning, developing, organizing, implementing assessing, and evaluating the care of individuals to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times. RN’s monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel and assist in modifying treatment regimens to meet the physical, psychosocial and developmental needs of the individual in accordance with established nursing practices and the requirements of the policies and procedures of the organization in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility. Requirements

Credentials as a Registered Nurse with a current state license (PA - Pennsylvania) in good standing for the state in which work is performed
Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
Must be at last 21 years of age
Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred
Meets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Responsibilities

Lead and implement individualized care plans
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
Administer medications and advanced therapies (including IV therapy, TPN, and complex treatments)
Monitor and respond to changes in condition
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families
Supervise and mentor LPNs and Nurse Technicians
Support emergency response and clinical safety
Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
You will be fully accountable for delivering safe, developmentally appropriate, and compassionate pediatric care.
