As a CDCES, a professional practitioner, you will assume responsibility for coordination of Children's Health center Pediatric Diabetes Management Program. You will develop, deliver, evaluate and conduct diabetes management activities and education to hospital staff, patients and family members including diabetes medications, insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors and other education needs. Develops educational programs and materials related to diabetes management to meet the needs and interests of patients, families, nurses, staff, physicians and the community Partner with NP to conducts and participates in research focused on diabetes management across varied patient populations Assist with validation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) components regarding best practices, discharge education and other documentation as needed Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized medicine and research.
