About The Position

The Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer II (RDCS-II) is part of the patient care team and is entrusted with the care of patients undergoing cardiac sonographer studies on an inpatient and/or outpatient basis. CHOC has opportunities for Pediatric Cardiac Sonographers and Pediatric/Fetal Cardiac Sonographers for Part-Time, and Full Time roles! Our positions allow you to gain experience in both inpatient and outpatient environments, and if you're interested in learning Fetal Sonography, and have strong foundation in Peds, we are willing to train! Hours are Mon-Fri, and vary between 7:30am and 5:30pm; weekend and evening call is rotated through the team. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000! You must have at least 3 years of experience in the specialty and meet the minimum qualifications.

Requirements

Minimum one year of pediatric cardiac sonography experience.
Graduate recognized program for echocardiography required

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (RDCS-PE) credentialing in Pediatric Echocardiography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonography (RCCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
