About The Position

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Pulmonologist for our hospital campus in Philadelphia, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded pediatric healthcare institution that is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to children with complex pulmonary conditions. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the pediatric pulmonologist will play a key role in expanding services and enhancing the quality of care in the community. Position Highlights: Growing practice to meet demand and develop satellite clinics Physician will have ability to provide input on the growth of the department Teaching for residents and medical students Respond to consult requests Perform Bronchoscopies Conduct sweat testing to diagnose Cystic Fibrosis Lung function testing: spirometry and whole-body plethysmography Noninvasive ventilation therapies: CPAP & BiPAP

Requirements

  • MD, DO or Foreign equivalent
  • BC in Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric residency
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship
  • Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years post fellowship experience preferred

Responsibilities
