About The Position

EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE: 1. Education: Has completed bachelors level degree in a behavioral health field (psychology, social work, etc.) 2. Licenses: None required 3. Certifications: None required 4. Experience: 3+ years experience with children and adolescents in an educational or healthcare setting preferred REQUIRED SCREENINGS: 1. Drug Screen 2. Physical Assessment 3. Tuberculosis screen 4. Background check (Criminal, Civil, Educational, Previous Employment, etc.) 5. Driver Record screen (positions requiring on-the-job driving) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each day. Administer, score, and assist with interpreting objective psychological tests for children and adolescents. Provide a written summary of the patient’s behavior during testing and assist with report writing at request of the licensed psychologist. Manage, store, and organize testing data and materials. Build rapport with children and family members to ensure a comfortable and effective testing environment. Return calls and messages promptly (within 24 hours of receipt or sooner if clinically necessary). Adhere to relevant laws, policies, and ethical standards related to behavioral health services. Prepare and submit assessments, progress notes, reports, and summaries to entities/agencies (funders, insurance companies, etc.) as required. Participate in meetings, quality improvement activities, and committees as requested. Other job related duties as assigned.
