About The Position

Cook Children's Health Care System, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has initiated a national search for a BC/BE Plastic Surgeon who has fellowship training and a demonstrable proficiency in Hand surgery. In particular, one who has interest in brachial plexus surgery, congenital hand surgery and microsurgery. This is an opportunity to join a well-established team of five full-time and one part-time Pediatric Plastic Surgeons supported by Advanced Practice Providers as they attend to patients presenting with the entire spectrum of simple and complex pediatric plastic diagnoses. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
  • The applicant must have completed a recognized hand specialty training program (a case list is required), be board certified/board eligible in Plastic Surgery.
  • The applicant must also have, or be eligible to obtain, the CAQ in hand surgery.
  • Must be qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencing employment.
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS.
