About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fulltime board certified or board eligible general Pediatric physician to join an outstanding pediatric program in Harris Creek. The Pediatric physician will provide direct patient care. This is an employed position with a competitive salary, moving allowance, a comprehensive benefits package and no state income tax. Candidates should also be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum care for each patient. Position Highlights: Outpatient opportunity with shared hospital on-call duties for McLane Children’s patients, including newborns. No delivery attendance required. Call is shared among all physicians in the group. After-hour clinic patient care calls only reach the physician after being screened by our excellent after-hours nurse triage phone line and on-call pediatric resident physicians which handle more than 99% of the calls. Opportunity to supervise, oversee and teach medical students, interns, and residents rotating through the department and division. Flexible scheduling options that allow for excellent work/life balance. Mixture of virtual and in-person patient visits. The ability to utilize ground-breaking technological tools that assist the physicians in minimizing documentation burden. Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified in their specialty or show effective pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
  • Hard-working
  • Team player with a favorable work and/or training history
