About The Position

Our client, a well-established and highly respected pediatric clinic in Borough Park, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking either a full-time or flexible schedule within a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused environment . As a Pediatric Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in a community-based practice that values long-term patient relationships and quality care. You will work closely with experienced nurses, medical assistants, and support staff to ensure efficient workflows and exceptional patient outcomes. Both experienced pediatricians and newly trained physicians are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clinical environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient pediatrics preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients, including newborns through adolescents
  • Conduct routine well-child visits, physical examinations, and developmental screenings
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
  • Manage chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, allergies, diabetes, and ADHD
  • Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care, immunizations, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
  • Stay current with pediatric guidelines, best practices, and continuing medical education
