We are seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist Resident to: Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in pediatric physical therapy. Challenge their own clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units and case presentations. Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function for pediatric patients with new and chronic impairments. Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services. Serve as instructional assistant for the University of Wisconsin Doctor of Physical Therapy pediatric courses. Gain experiences across four pediatric practice settings: Acute Care, Early Childhood Intervention, Outpatient and the school system.
