About The Position

At H2 Health, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our pediatric patients and their families. As a Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to support the physical and developmental needs of children in an outpatient setting. In this role, you will help implement treatment plans for infants, children, and adolescents dealing with a variety of conditions including developmental delays, orthopedic issues, and neurological disorders. Your compassionate approach and strong communication skills will be essential in collaborating with children, families, and the multidisciplinary team to create a positive therapy experience.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current or eligible PTA license in the state of practice.
  • Compassionate and engaging demeanor, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, providing input for treatment modifications as needed.
  • Engage patients through play and therapeutic activities to encourage participation and achievement of goals.
  • Educate families on treatment plans, exercises, and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and nurturing environment for all patients.
