About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide evaluation and treatment to infants, children, and adolescents with physical, developmental, or neurological challenges. This role focuses on helping young patients achieve optimal mobility, strength, and independence through individualized care plans and evidence-based interventions.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state Physical Therapy license
  • Previous pediatric experience required (inpatient, outpatient, or school-based)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children and families to promote functional growth and independence

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate pediatric patients to assess motor skills, strength, balance, and functional mobility.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote movement, independence, and overall physical development.
  • Use a variety of therapeutic techniques including exercises, play-based interventions, and assistive equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educate parents and families on home exercise programs and strategies to support ongoing progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility and state regulations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education or care plans as needed.
