Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is seeking a Pharmacist Coordinator to join the Outpatient Pharmacy Leadership team! Position Highlights This leadership role will oversee our pharmacy interns and provide guidance, opportunities, and support to this integral part of our staff. Candidate must be self-motivated, willing to teach and provide education to new staff, while managing a busy retail environment. Schedule is 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday – Thursday from 1 pm to 11 pm and a weekend rotation every 6 weeks. Staff Pharmacist responsibilities include but are not limited to; filling discharge prescriptions, completing refills for complex patient populations, setting up mail, and helping families of patients directly. Clinical component includes evaluating doses and indications with their MAR, submitting prior authorizations, and making interventions with providers directly.
