About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a dynamic pediatric Occupational Therapist for a full-time outpatient pediatric position within the Mary Bridge health system network. This role is part of a team built on trust, caring for each other, patients, and communities, aligning with MultiCare's mission and values. While experienced clinicians with a broad skill set are preferred, new graduates are also considered. The successful candidate must be self-driven, outcomes-oriented, and able to demonstrate quality work in a fast-paced environment to meet productivity standards. Optimal time management skills, high collaboration, and the ability to see the 'big picture' are essential, along with strong inter-disciplinary communication. MultiCare utilizes EPIC for all electronic medical records. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy services for both in-patients and outpatients referred for Occupational Therapy, applying service orientation, analysis, and good judgment to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform well in stress and emergency situations
Perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
Perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
Perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
Communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients
