Peyton Manning Children's Hospital is looking for a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery PA for our partnership with TriState Orthopedics in Evansville, IN. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and TriState Orthopedics to provide medical services to patients. Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Verified by local credentialing office.
Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local credentialing office.
Physician Assistant credentialed from the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local credentialing office.
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
Master's degree preferred.
1 year of experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Verified by local credentialing office.
Master's degree preferred.
1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.
Obtain patient history and performs assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
