Peyton Manning Children's Hospital is looking for a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery PA for our partnership with TriState Orthopedics in Evansville, IN. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and TriState Orthopedics to provide medical services to patients. Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Verified by local credentialing office.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local credentialing office.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local credentialing office.
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Verified by local credentialing office.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.
  • Obtain patient history and performs assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
  • Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
  • Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
  • Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
