About The Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified, fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist to join our established practice. This position involves clinical care of patients, a busy pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgical practice, and resident and fellow teaching and supervision in the clinics and operating rooms. Candidates should have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research. The department has a strong history and tradition in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and currently comprises 40 faculty members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology. Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology
  • MD or DO degree (or equivalent international medical degree)
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota
