Cortica is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinic in Irvine! We are a unified team of doctors and therapists, specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders. Our mission is to design and deliver life-changing care – one child, one family, one community at a time. Schedule: This role is clinic-based and requires 15-25 hours per week, between the 2:00 to 7:00 PM timeframe. You’ll have a consistent schedule (based on the hours you select) and your own set of cases and assessments.

  • Establish treatment goals using dynamic and standardized assessments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans
  • Provide individual, group, and co-treatment therapy sessions as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing in compliance with regulations and company policy
  • Deliver play-based, goal-directed interventions to support sensory processing, regulation, and daily living skills
  • Facilitate functional, engaging activities that target individualized goals
  • Develop strategies that improve participation in daily occupations
  • Partner with patients and families to understand values, interests, and goals
  • Design programming that considers the whole child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communication, recreational, and social needs
  • Contribute to ongoing program development
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on home programs
  • Role requires occasional standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; reasonable accommodations available
  • Must occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds
  • A master’s degree in occupational therapy and a current, unrestricted state OT license
  • Strong clinical reasoning and therapeutic skills
  • Interest in working within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Flexibility and openness to ongoing learning and feedback
  • Appreciation for a variety of therapeutic models and approaches
  • Passion for supporting children and families
  • Proficiency with EMRs and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
