Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the State of Wisconsin

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred, though mentorship is available for new grads passionate about pediatrics

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations of children’s physical, sensory, and emotional development
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans to promote independence and daily functioning
  • Support skill development in fine motor coordination, sensory regulation, and self-care
  • Recommend adaptive tools and interventions to enhance functional participation
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and school teams
  • Document assessments, treatments, and progress in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in early intervention (B-3) or school-based team meetings as appropriate
